Chunk

Chunk came to TOESR in 2007 and promptly made a lasting impression. Severely matted, it was noted that Chunk coughed regularly as if struggling for breath. After he was cleaned up and shaved down, a plastic flea collar was found embedded in his neck, most likely having been put there when Chunk was a pup and never adjusted. The collar was slowly strangling him. Afrer making sure it was removed, Chunk became the happiest of sheepdogs! Low to the ground and with a very 'chill' attitude, he was a great dog to add to any family. Through the years Chunk shared his home with canine brothers and sisters and watched quite a few foster dogs come and go. He was always the gentleman, curious and happy. Chunk passed away from complications of old age this past weekend. He'll be missed and personally, was loved dearly.
