We had to have Bandit put down this past August when he had complete renal failure. He had a bout with Leptospirosis five years ago. He recovered from that but lost most of his fur. This did not stop him from being a wonderful faithful companion during our various medical problems. He seemed to sense when one of us was not feeling well - never leaving our side. He loved to ride in the car and the boat and hated it when it was too hot for him to come. He loved to party, greeting every one and then going to lie in the doorway to see them off the premises. We had him for nine loving years and we miss him very much. The house feels empty without him.
