We said goodbye over the weekend to our best friend Sully . We were so fortunate to spend over 10 years with him and his brother Max. We adopted Max and Sully at the age of two and they were inseparable - until Max passed away last Spring. Thank you Belinda Lamm of Tarheel, Old English Sheepdog Rescue in North Carolina for coordinating the adoption for our family over 10 years ago and helping to transport them to our home in Vermont. Also thanks to Geoff Hurwitch who drove along with Kurt 2 full days to get them to their new home. We are appreciative of their previous owner, who not only had them trained professionally but also made sure the dogs were in good hands before giving them up and contacting the rescue. Special thanks to Ed Gill who helped drive them across the country safely with Kurt and Liza Johnson our personal dog sitter for us for so many years. My boys spent the better part of their lives with these two, and we are so grateful we had them in our lives and now their memories will live on.
