I/we have done this too many times and each time it hurts more. Junah journeyed over the rainbow bridge on Feb 13th. He was the Patriarch of the Virginia Four rescued by Tarheel OES Rescue. He lost his original Daddy who past away suddenly at a very young age, then separated from his mate and his young ones. My precious boy. I miss his barking in the car, the thousands of kisses he would give me each night, the greeting at the door every night as if he hadn't seen me in weeks, nudging me at night to go to bed, jumping into bed with me and eventually I had to help him up, the beautiful eyes he had just staring at me, his running around the yard, evenings in the summer where Guy and I would sit outside with drinks and he would lay down right between us. Guy would always say you were the handsomest boy on the entire east coast. Inoperable Cancer hit him and us hard. We did everything we could for nearly a year to make him comfortable but finally he looked at me and said it was time. Many will remember Lord Stanley and when I lost him, I wondered if I could ever do it again. Then GA contacts me to foster Ms Savana and she knew I would eventually adopt her. Mr. Junah you are and always will be our number one. Rest in peace, join Lady Daisy, Squire McDuff, Sir Ramsey, Lord Stanley, Ms. Savana, Mr. Patch, Mr. Sammy Joseph, Ms. Miffy Mae and your first Daddy. Know that you will always be part of our heart.
