Bleu

Yesterday Bleu went to sleep for the final time. His hind quarters have been getting progressively weaker for about the last 8 months. The meds didn't help, and he could no longer stand up or walk without falling down. I know he was hurting at times even though I lifted him to do anything. I think even more he was ashamed that he could no longer do the things he so loved to do.

He was our third sheepie and although the first two were wonderful, Bleu was without a doubt the best and most lovable of the three. He was a fighter to the end. As I layed on the floor crying with him, at the end he looked at me and gave my face the biggest lick ever and went to sleep.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to know and love this most loveable and beautiful family member. We'll miss him so.
