We are writing this with heavy hearts. We've lost two of our most precious darlings. They have forever been imprinted on our hearts. We lost Ollie on Sept 23, 2015 and Lilly left us to be with Ollie on April 12, 2016. Working with Belinda (TOESR) was great. In April 2011, Belinda and Betty drove 13 hours to bring them here to their forever home. When Ollie stepped out of the minivan all we could see was his big black bulbous nose with Lilly shyly following right behind him. From that day forward we couldn’t tell where one began and the other one ended. They were both matted but after getting their hair clipped their true personalities came through. And Wow What Personalities. They were both truly loving and gentle. Ollie was always getting into mischief. He would grab food off the counter with his huge paws. And he even opened a toaster oven door to get bread. All the while Lilly was looking over her shoulder as if to be the look out. They would love it when we got home from the supermarket. They knew there was always something special for them and would check every bag as we brought them in. The two were inseparable. They would love our long walks together and would never go unless all four of us went together. We miss Lilly and Ollie so much. It was the best time we had in our 36 years of marriage. It was very hard to write this with tears flowing down our faces. Thank you TOES for giving us such love.
