Amber, our dear sweet Old English Sheepdog had run scared from the vet. We looked and looked and got numerous reports of her sighting. Two days after looking and calling for her we came home to a message that she had run out into the street and been hit by a car. Possibly after hearing us calling for her.

We will miss her toddlerhood (she was not even 2 years), her adoring gaze, the way she bounced against our Newfie, and the way she carried around her little stuffed reindeer but never chewed it. Goodbye dear, sweet Amber. Your life was short but full of grace.
