Marley arrived at the Tumey household through TOES, along with the other boys: Milo and Merlin. Marley was a special addition to the family and took to mom. He was mom's dog. Wherever mom went, Marley went. He traveled the road with her from the mountains to the coast. In fact, we would compete to sit in back of the van when we were in the mountains, because Marley would stand and not sit. As we rounded the curves, he would lean into them and not lose his balance. It was hysterical. Plus it was all about his eyes. They were bottle cap size and deep brown. That's all you saw, the brown. Marley always had a positive disposition and was happy to be with the family and the boys. He had the seniority within the group. We miss Marley and wish he could have been part of the family longer. However, in the short time that he was with us, he and mom were one and a team. And that was great!
