Please join us as we offer our most sincere condolences to Carolin on the loss of her TOESR dog, Sadie. Carolin had never owned an OES prior to Sadie but had close neighbors who did. Watching them made her a convert. With some help from a couple of very dedicated volunteers, we were able to transport Sadie (who came to us as Shiloh) from WV to NC where after vetting, it was determined she had heartworms. Once the medical protocol was completed, there wasn't much doubt about where Sadie needed to go. In addition, Carolin had a long history of working with raising therapy dogs so Sadie always had company! Sadie graced the TOESR calendars more than once. She brought a lot of joy to Carolin and her extended family. We grieve together.
