It's with such extreme sadness that I want to let you know that on Sunday we had to say goodbye to Cutha. Cutha was our first of our 3 rescues (followed by Silver, then Maggie) and believe it or not, it's been almost 6 years. When we brought her home, at the age of 8 1/2, we never imagined we'd be fortunate enough to have her for 6 years. But she must have found life with us quite enjoyable, and we found that life with her was even better. She was our princess dog, who had a special prance in her step, and such warmth in her heart. She was truly my lap-dog up until just a few months ago, when she lost her ability to jump on the sofa. We are forever grateful to Tarheel OES Rescue for allowing us to adopt Cutha. She's gone from our lives but will remain forever in our hearts.
