Teddy - Adopted!
Teddy came to us as an owner turn-in, another innocent victim of the economic
upheaval here in NC. Although a beloved pet, Teddy's owner felt it only right to
give him a better life.
Living fairly close-by, Betty and Bob Tumey, who have owned OES's for a long time
and are volunteers for Tarheel OES Rescue, agreed to foster Teddy. They had recently
lost Marley - one of their own OES's - and Teddy fit right into their home and lifestyle
accordingly.
Ironically, Betty and Bob brought Teddy to us with the intent of an adoption taking place.
As it happened, Teddy's prospective family fell in love with another dog, leaving Teddy
to go home with his foster family. Feelings were mixed however, since the Tumeys had
fallen in love with Teddy and decided they wanted to give him a forever home themselves.
By all accounts Mr Teddy is living the good life and enjoying the company of the Tumey's
other OES's as well as another foster!
Thanks to Betty and Bob for giving Teddy a safe and caring home!
