Yetti came to us as a stray turned into a shelter here in Piedmont, NC. We saw when we received him that this was a very unique dog. Part Old English Sheepdog and part Pyrenees, Yetti was a really large but really laid back dog. Shannon and her family had been wanting just such a dog and when they came to 'visit' with Yetti, I think he sold himself....just a beautiful, sweet boy.

The evening Yetti went to his new home, Shannon, her children and her sister accompanied her. After much admiration and some licks, Yetti was boosted into his 'new ride' and everyone left in a processional up the drive to a new life!

Shannon reports that Yetti, who's been renamed either Harry or Chewie (depending on the day, LOL) is having a wonderful time with the kids and her husband, Joel! We hope to hear more about the adventures of Harry/Chewie as we continue into 2009!
