Nikita came to us as an owner turn-in along with Sir Houchie. Both dogs have been much loved and a big part of their family however the owner continues to be very ill and couldn't continue to care for the two.

Ann and John, OES owners for many years and Pennsylvania transplants who now live in rural Virginia, saw Nikita and wanted to give her a good home. When asked why they wanted a sheepdog, Ann replied 'Is there anything else?' That basically sealed the deal!

Reports tell us that Nikita is enjoying herself and having a good time being the 'only' dog. Belly rubs and walks are a daily reminder that she's loved. Thanks to Ann and John for opening their hearts and home to Nikita!
