Sir Houchie - Adopted!

Houchie had been a beloved companion from puppyhood but due to his owner's illness, he came to Tarheel OES Rescue for rehoming. Being an older dog and somewhat of a crumudgeon, Houch had a prolonged stay at Muttley Manor.

We received a call from Adam and Jennifer, who grew up with OES's and has a wealth of knowledge on the breed, and they were more than willing to give Sir Houch a home.

The day that Houch met Adam and Jennifer, he walked right up to them, looked at them with a happy look and appeared smitten! When they all departed for Houch's new home, you could hear his muffled 'woof' coming from the car as they went up the drive. That's one dog that LOVES his rides!

We have good reports on Houch and that he's acclimated himself well to his new home. Thanks to Adam and Jennifer for giving this fella a home where he'll be cared for and loved.
