Sassy - Adopted!

Until being turned into TOES, Sassy had lived in a pen outside with several other dogs with very little human contact, fighting for her food and water. Her luck changed drastically after being fostered, vetted and cleaned up. After a trip up north and being fostered by a wonderful, loving family in NJ, Sassy returned to NC to wait for her forever home. As luck would have it, we were contacted by Meg and Norm, who had lost their OES earlier and were looking for another sheepie to love. After due consideration, many emails, and with quite a number of folks involved (thanks Tammy, iLisa, and Jean and Kory) Sassy finally met her new parents who immediately bonded with her. While being a little hesitant with Norm initially, by the time Meg and Norm were ready to leave, Sassy was giving Norm 'paw' and wagging her nub!

Meg reports that Sassy is the perfect dog for them and in her own words, a 'house diva!' We can't thank Meg and Norm enough and all the volunteers that helped make Sassy's final trip home such a great experience.
