Julie - Adopted!

Along with her friend, Harry, Julie arrived at Muttley Manor after having to be turned in to an animal shelter when her owner was admitted to a nursing home. Just like Harry, Julie was in pretty bad shape and needed a pretty extensive cut and clean up prior to going to be spayed. It was also discovered that not only did Julie appear to be an 'older' girl, she also had several lumps that needed to be evaluated and the vet was concerned about a couple of them. So after the biopsies, we waited to see what would happen....meanwhile, Julie/Ginny/Jewels began to show her sweetest of natures and her great disposition. With the two dogs being close companions, we wanted to try to place them together and there entered the Kiernan's. When I first spoke with Wendy and asked, since we didn't have knowledge of what Julie/Ginny/Jewels biopsy would read, she said 'of course we'll take them both, no matter what!' That cemented the deal!

As luck would have it, Julie/Ginny/Jewels' biopsy turned out to be negative and she's healing nicely. Like Harry, she's much loved and in a home where she can be cared for and treated well.

Thanks so much to the Kiernans, whom we hope to see often along with the 'littles'!!!!!
