Many thanks are in order for the Walkers, Marlene & Chuck. The Walkers are transplants to the NC area from Chicago & had finally decided that they were stabilized & wanted another OES after losing their male OES a few years ago. Belinda Lamm visited with the Walkers one sunny Saturday & spent some time sharing OES stories with Chuck & Marlene. When the Walkers saw Maggie on the TOES website, they fell in love with her. And according to reports after the fact, the love is mutual. Everyone is doing well, with Maggie enjoying the best of lives! Thanks to Kathy Buck for picking Maggie up From the shelter where she was being held & to Tammy Benson , for her wonderful job of fostering Maggie & with coordinating the adoption process with the Walkers!
