TOES was notified of a young female OES pup that was being housed at a local kill shelter in Statesville, NC and due to be euthanized within a day by a vigilant prior OES owner in the area. We had the youngster transported to a local vet where she underwent her spay surgery. We picked her up the following day and then began the task of finding this 'energizer bunny' a proper home.

Enter Vicki from Charleston, SC. We talked, made the appropriate inquiries and departed for a transport to Charleston to deliver the lucky girl. Just to show how dedicated some of our owners are, Vicki drove through an impending hurricane to pick up her new dog, who was then named Emma!

Emma has grown and settled in with Vicki and is a true OES who enjoys the frequent car rides she gets with her mom!!! Thanks to Vicki for giving Emma the home she deserves.
