Chewy came to TOESR after she'd been adopted from her original owner and didn't get along with the new owner's cats. Being an 'elder' sheepdog, placement took a little longer than normal. All that changed however when we were contacted by Doug who was looking for an older dog. And with Chewy's credentials including having been a certified therapy dog, this was a great match for both Doug AND Chewy. We're happy to report that Chewy has settled into her new home without missing a beat! Thanks to Dena for fostering and for both Dena and Janis for transporting Chewy to her new home. Most particularly, thanks to Doug for opening his heart and home to a senior dog!
