MaeBelle came to TOES with a younger sibling and was quite timid and shy around people. With that in mind, it took a while to find just the right balance that MaeBelle would need to feel comfortable and safe. A prior home wasn't in the cards for this little girl but with persistence and an application from Beth, MaeBelle has finally settled into her new home.

While doing a home visit and accompanied by MaeBelle, we became acquainted with Beth and her big OES Reilly. MaeBelle checked out her possible new home and immediately went and lay down on one of Reilly's beds. That was the clincher I think. Beth and her niece, Jessica, drove to pick MaeBelle up on Thanksgiving morning. What a great way to celebrate the holiday!

A recent update from Beth advises that MaeBelle, now Bella, is playing like crazy with Reilly and that things are great. It's comical to see, since Bella is such a small girl and Reilly is quite large. Beth says that everyone that sees Bella thinks she's a pup and not the three year old OES that she really is.

Many, many thanks to Beth and Reilly for giving Bella such a great home and helping her to feel safe and loved!
