Patterson

Patterson came to TOESR after we were notified by a small shelter in a neighboring state, who needed and asked for our help. We were Patterson's last chance to find a new life since they were classified as a kill shelter and like so many other facilities, overcrowded. After transporting him to NC, Patterson was vetted and later evaluated regarding some of his issues. He then began a series of training sessions while the search for the perfect home and family continued. After speaking with numerous applicants who just didn't feel quite right, one person, after a lengthy conversation, stood out.

We can now report that Patterson is progressing in his new home with his new mom, Linda, who loves him and is dedicated to giving him the best possible life. Thanks to the shelter staff who were wonderful to work with as well as to our transport help and foster mom, Dena, for all her hard work! It puts rescue work into its true perspective when you realize that this fella would have lost his life without the help of all these great volunteers!
