When we were asked to help in placing two sheepdogs after their owner died quite unexpectedly, we felt we'd be able to make that happen. The mother of the dogs' owner wanted to make sure each dog was placed separately to allow them to shine individually. Poppy, the younger of the two dogs, had an amazing number of applicants but one stood out as the perfect home both for Poppy & for her new owner, Cilla. Dedicated to making Poppy a part of her life, Cilla and her daughter made an extensive road trip, met with the family and returned home to find that they'd not only adopted a beautiful sheepie girl but one with some major smarts! Poppy and Cilla are acclimating well and we look forward to hearing more about the journey both are making together. Thank you Cilla for adopting Poppy.
