June

June came to TOESR in a roundabout way. She'd not had an easy time, having been used as a breed dog most of her life until her usefulness was over and then given to a kind-hearted person who wanted to help her. That proved to be too hard a task so thankfully another person who'd become familiar with TOESR a few years prior, approached the group about taking this girl on. She was in horrible shape physically but with a sweet and loving nature. With A LOT of extensive vetting, June came through with flying colors. We owe our TOESR supporters so many thanks for their contributions to make this happen.

June's story culminated in a real rescue miracle when she was adopted during our TOESR 15th anniversary picnic recently. Once Jim, who attended the event with the intention of meeting June, had the opportunity to spend time with her, it became apparent to everyone there that this was meant to be! Thanks to a crew of folks, Amy, Dena, numerous vets and most particularly Jim for giving this senior girl the opportunity to live out her remaining years knowing love and compassion
