Henry

Toby came to TOESR as the result of a compassionate family's attempt to rescue him from a bad environment in his original home. Not knowing a lot about the breed, it became quickly apparent that a very young sheepdog wasn't blending in with the resident giant breed dogs. Still wanting what was best for Toby however, we were approached by his saving famly about bringing him into our program. We were happy to oblige and consequently began the task of completely vetting and training Toby in his foster home.

Life wasn't a breeze for a while. Toby went through a period of time with some serious gastric issues as well as suffering from separation anxiety. When he was well enough to undergo it, he was neutered and began his road to recovery and becoming adoptable.

As things happen, while initially our foster mom wasn't even considering an adoption of a seven month old puppy, we all know that things can change. Since Toby had become quite comfortable with his location, his training being successful and with a growing bond, it wasn't a surprise that we arrived at the the decision that Toby be a permanent member of the family!

Toby is now known as Henry. He's one happy fella and we all look forward to seeing more of him and his winning ways in the future. Thanks Susan for opening up your heart and home to this fella!
