Magoo - Adopted!

Magoo came to us along with another of our rescue dogs, Miffy, from deplorable conditions. Thanks to a wonderful rescuer, April and her husband, Magoo found his way to TOES and was fostered by our treasurer, Alison McCarron. Magoo also had a wealth of health issues, the main one being heartworms to the point that it wasn't sure that he'd live through the treatments. After flying through them with ease however, he was then neutered and treated for a major ear infection.

We'd taken several applications for Magoo, and finally decided the best match would be for his new family, the Ertzbergers and their daughter Jan. The family has had several experiences with rescue OES's and had lost their Andy (see Memorial page) earlier. It was love at first sight!

We hear that Magoo is settling in well with his new family and has learned that it's a 'good thing' to be an only dog and to be spoiled! Of course his new family is doing just that!!!!

Thanks so much to the Ertzbergers and Jan for making this boy's life one filled with love. And while he's getting his share of love, I'm sure he's providing love to his new 'uprights' as well.
