Imara

Imara's story is a sad one but not at all unusual. She was turned into a local shelter along with her companion dog by their owner who could no longer take care of either dog. With nothing short of a miracle and excellent recommendations from friends of TOESR, there was any number of offers to help with fostering and transport to keep Imara safe. Imara adjusted to her new circumstances like a champ and after a short period of evaluating, Imara's new home was recognized. Mara's (as she's now known) new owner reports that she's a sweet girl and settling in well. Many thanks to Debra and her friend for their recommendations, to Marianne and Stephanie for their transport and fostering help but most importantly to Tracy for giving this girl a new lease on life!
