Molly

TOESR was contacted about a very young female sheepdog who'd been turned into a South Carolina humane society by her second owner in her very short four month old life. We wanted to help this pup who basically hadn't had a fair shot at a normal life. Once Molly was vetted per protocol, we were able to initiate a transport to move her to her approved foster home. Planning the logistics simply fell into place as if it were pre-ordained and within three days Molly was on her way.

Because we have some outstanding foster homes, and due to the importance we place on those fosters, if someone agrees to foster any of our rescue dogs, they acquire the right to adopt the dog in their care. In this particular situation, Molly's transport went off without a hitch and within an hour of her reaching her foster home, I received a call that, if approved, she'd found her forever home!

We first want to thank Pam and Joani with the Hilton Head Humane Society as well as our TOESR transporters, Bob and Anne for providing an instant way to move Molly but most of all, thanks to Joanne for opening her heart and home to Molly. I'm sure we'll be hearing much more from this youngster!
