Kismet

TOESR received a call from a very compassionate rescuer who's friend, also a rescuer, picked up a female Old English Sheepdog on a local highway. The young dog was in bad shape, scared, filthy, and in heat. Her rescuer named her Kismet, which was more than appropriate and on that day, Kismet's life changed for the better! She was completely vetted and spayed once her heat cycle was complete. During her time with her foster mom, the two developed quite a bond and that bond helped Kismet to begin to be more comfortable and to come into her own.

While there were quite a few excellent adoption applications, one stood out. Kathy and Dennis were excited to be the family chosen to give Kismet her new and forever home. And by all accounts, Ms Kismet is settling in well and is definitely proving to be very smart and quite curious. We want to thank Kate and her entire crew for being Kismet's saving grace and most definitely Kathy and Dennis for opening their home and hearts to her!
