Ridley

Ridley's story wasn't all that different from so many of the rescues we work with however this one had a sad twist. Ridley was brought in as a stray in bad physical shape. He did however have a microchip and when his owners were contacted, the shelter was told that they simply didn't want him anymore. Ridley is in the 8-10 year old range. Through the outstanding efforts of both some very caring shelter volunteers and our own TOESR crew, Ridley made a long trek that had him cleaned up, vetted and in a foster home in less than two days. Now it's hard to place a 'senior' dog but in Ridley's situation, the perfect home for him came easily. We have a large number of folks to thank for Ridley's success story, from the shelter volunteers themselves, to Tom and copilot Daisy, to Allie and to an exceptional foster mom, Leslie! We do however have to give a huge thank you to Anne and Kevin for opening their hearts and home to Ridley. We see Ridley frequently on social media and we couldn't ask for a happier ending!
