Lina's life prior to coming to TOESR wasn't a happy one. Purchased from one breeder in another state and transferred to another breeder, she lived her young life in a puppy mill in pretty nasty conditions. When the owner felt the need to give her up, TOESR stepped in to make a difference in this sweet girl's life. Initially, Lina suffered from some pretty intense issues with simply not knowing what being someone's loved-dog meant. With months of careful treatment and care, we all measured Lina's progress in the smallest of steps. As time went by, Lina began to show signs of marked improvement and finally to the point of being able to find her new forever home. We want to thank several people specifically for Lina's progress, Tom, for his ready willingness to make sure Lina arrived at TOESR safely, the folks at Main St Vets and of course, Taylor and foster mom, Beth who never lost faith. Finally, we all want to think Caitlin (and her family) for their big hearts and Caitlin's compassion and her love for Lina. From updates daily, Lina has made the transition and appears to continuing her journey to being a loved and normal dog!
