Monty came to TOESR originally as a young dog when we were notified that he'd been brought into an out-of-state shelter. He was adopted out of the shelter initially but returned after a weekend. Our volunteers worked jointly to see that he was transported and he was immediately placed in a foster home. It didn't take long to find a great home for Monty but after a fairly short adoption, his new owners reluctantly returned him. Therein began the search for Monty's 'forever' home. And while there were numerous applicants, one family stood out. Monty is now ensconced with his new mom and dad, and is doing quite well. There are so many people to thank for this rescue and it shows that this was indeed a group effort. Thanks to Tom, Bonnie, Allie, Sonia, the staff at Main Street Vet's office but most of all, to Wayne and Kathy for making sure that Monty will have everything he needs in the future.
