Bella

Bella joined TOESR as one of a pair of female OES siblings whose owner reluctantly had to rehome them due to a serious medical condition. While both dogs had spent their entire life together - and at first were inseparable - we noticed that as they became more comfortable in their foster home, the pair would be able to thrive in separate homes. Bella's sister has found a wonderful home with one of our prior TOESR families and has a new older sister.

Bella now has a home of her own with her own sibling as well. John and Maxine had lost their prior OES several years ago and needed some time to process their grief before adopting a new dog. That dog was Bella! Reports are that Bella is adjusting well and there's a sister's reunion in both dogs' futures. We want to thank Heather and a great shelter's cooperation for initiating this rescue. Many thanks to Tom and his sidekick Daisy Mae for providing the legwork and of course Gwen and Jim for their always stellar fostering. And last but certainly not least, to John and Maxine for opening their hearts and home to Bella. We look forward to great progress reports!
