Lizzie has had several homes in her short life.....having started out at a breeder's home in SC, then being moved to yet another breeder, she was rescued by a family that wanted to stop the cycle of having her as nothing more than a puppy mill 'mother'. Lizzie was then adopted by another family who wanted what was best for Lizzie and at that point notified TOES.

Lizzie is a great dog but did have some issues.....her new family realized that adopting Lizzie might be a long and involved process but after losing their own beloved OES almost a year ago, wanted to give Lizzie a safe and loving home. By all accounts, Lizzie is doing well although still getting used to the fact that she's 'home' for good this time. We want to thank Lizzie's new family: Tony, Diane, Michael and Jocelyn for giving Lizzie another chance at a normal life...oh, and not to forget, their awesome other dog, a pug named Genny! It's folks like these that make rescue a success!
