Toby

Toby came into our program with the help of quite a few of our TOESR volunteers. He was immediately seen by one of our vets, had his ears treated again, and began his rehabilitation in not just one, but two of our foster homes. A dog whose prior life hadn't been typical, it took awhile for Toby to become comfortable with his surroundings. He went through quite a bit of socialization and was well cared for in the process. We had several homes express interest in Toby, but one stood out. This family is OES-savvy and had lost their last dog recently. After a wonderful home visit, our volunteers decided they wanted to go live there as well! The meeting between Gwen and Jim with Toby for the first time caused some tears to be shed but things went perfectly. We have so many people to thank for this rescue's happy ending; Jennifer, Tom, Kelly, Allie and Leslie! Most importantly we have to thank Gwen and Jim for giving Toby a wonderful new home, one where he's loved, cared for and valued for the great dog that he is!
