Albert

Having been turned into a shelter as a stray, Jameson came to TOESR without our knowing any of his prior history. Although a sweet, young boy, he was a grooming nightmare. After being shaved down and seen by a vet, Jameson was found to have sarcoptic mange along with a severe ear infection. He was treated, brought up to date with his shots and tested for heartworms.

Getting used to a foster home took a little bit of work but Jameson settled in without issue except for some separation anxiety. He continued on his medicine for his skin issues as did our foster home's resident dog as a precautionary tactic. Luckily, the perfect home presented itself immediately and 6 days after he came to us, Jameson was living with his new family as if he'd always been there!

Thanks to Allie and to Stephanie, who made the segue for Jameson (now Albert) to his new home such a success. Most of all, thanks to George and Madeline for opening up your hearts and home to this sweetheart. We've already heard some hilarious things this boy has done so I'm sure everyone will want to follow his progress in the future.
