Pippa

Sometimes events and their timing just fall into place. Such is the case with Pippa and although her beginnings with TOESR were precipitated by a bad situation, the end result will bring a smile. Pippa came to us as the result of being deemed courts evidence in a hoarding situation, was seized and went through a period of time in a local shelter until the case was closed. Having lived in less than savory conditions, moved to a shelter and then once again moved to our foster care, it would have been normal to see behavioral issues with her. Not the case! Although a bit timid, Pippa settled into her foster home without incident and every day grew stronger and more comfortable.

We all fail foster 101 at some point and this was one of those times. Having recently lost her own sheepdog, Kerry simply clicked with Pippa. Who could say no to a situation that seemed to be predestined? Our happy ending here is that Pippa is well on the way to becoming a well adjusted sheepie. With all the love that she's getting, there's no doubt this was the right place for her. Thanks to everyone that made this adoption happen and in particular to Kerry for seeing how special this dog is!
