Luka came to us through a collective effort of great TOES volunteers. Darcie Tumey & Alison McCarron both helped in transport & fostering Luka (who started out as Scruffy). Pete & Belinda Lamm soon became another of Luka's foster homes however & fascinated all who saw him with his noble beauty. Luka, we found out, is a 'designer' dog, a mixture of OES & Great Pyranees with some pretty interesting habits & some issues.

With not alot of interest in potential adopters, Luka was seen one day by Christina & Eddie Rowe, who were at Muttley Manor to pick up their own TOES dog, Emma. Christina spoke up & suggested that she knew of the perfect home for Luka. Wonder of wonders, TOES received a call from Robin Burke & her home situation sounded perfect for such a great but challenged dog. Meetings took place at a dog event, Bark in the Park & it was determined that Luka would most likely have found a new home.

This is not the end of the story however. Robin has put many hours & alot of energy into making Luka the much better adjusted & healthy dog that he is today! We have frequent updates on his progress & by all reports, Luka has become quite the celebrity. We'll keep the site updated on Luka's progress as time goes by.
