Sammy

Sammy came to TOESR as an owner release. With his stellar lineage, Sammy's medical issues were initially addressed by TOESR with hopes of corrections. The surgeons at Virginia Tech gave Sammy a thorough work-up, but diagnosed Sammy's condition as one they aren't able to correct. We moved on. Sammy was such a personality that we felt it was only a matter of time before he was able to connect with his perfect home. That happened. After several months in his foster home, Sammy became a dog that needed to become a member of a specific family. Enter Michael and Guy. We've known Michael for years and from his phenomenal efforts with several of our rescue dogs, i.e. Patch and Ms Miffy, it was a no-brainer that this adoption was pre-destined. Things happen for a reason. Sammy is now in the home that he needs and that needs him. So many thanks to Tammy and Tim, for their 'over the top' fostering endeavors, but mostly to Michael and Guy for giving Sammy the chance to live his life in dignity and as a companion with Ms Miffy!
