Isabella

Hailey's rescue is one for the books. Found lying in the middle of a busy highway one night in the pouring rain, this innocent puppy was all but dead. Thank goodness, a very special woman stopped, picked her up and took her home and called TOESR. After retrieving Hailey, we determined that she was approximately 3-4 months old and weighed 17 lbs, basically 'bone weight'. From that point, Hailey's life took a turn for the better. She was vetted and fostered, getting all the love and care we could possibly give her. And she thrived!

Once Hailey was healthy enough for us to consider her ready for adoption, we were swamped with potential applicants. Cindy and Fred had been waiting patiently for over a year for that 'special' sheepdog to come their way and it's a true pleasure to know that Hailey (aka Isabella Anastasia) will have the best of homes. Who knows if dogs 'remember' their less than pleasant past, but it's guaranteed that she'll never have any worries moving forward.

There are people to thank for the outcome of this adoption. First, Stephanie, the original rescuer. We're all indebted to you for your kind spirit and to Bonnie, for fostering and giving a sweet, innocent dog the love and care she needed. And finally to Cindy and Fred! We look forward to only good news regarding Isabella/Hailey. We'll see you next year at the TOESR picnic! That's a given!
