Spencer

From the time Spencer originally came to TOESR, we knew he was a special boy. He was adopted by our events coordinator Carol, who became another 'foster 101' failure as so many of us have been. Spencer gave Carol so much love as she continued her cancer battle and she returned that love to him tenfold. He was her pride and joy. Having realized that Spencer needed more attention that he was able to provide, Carol's son made the hard but unselfish decision to try to find him a new home. It didn't take long to find that home. When Carol (yes, ironically, Spencer's new mom is also a Carol) and Charlie heard Spencer's story, they were committed to give him the love and attention that we were searching to find. And it was an automatic 'go' when, on first meeting his new family, Spencer ran right up to them as if he'd known them forever.

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to Carol and Charlie for providing Spencer with their love and care. We look forward to hearing how he transitions in the future. I think our Carol would approve.
