Maddie

Maddie's history with TOESR is a long one. She came to the group after her owner passed away and was segued to one of our foster homes and placed shortly thereafter. Things went well until an issue surfaced - Maddie's lack of tolerance for females.

She was returned to TOESR and once again placed in foster care. Her issues didn't improve, however, and we were faced with the hard decision of what her future would be. Luckily for Maddie, there was help! After a final attempt in a foster home with alot of 'special issues' expertise and quite a bit of time, we found a home that was willing to give this girl a wonderful, loving home.

Maddie is a beautiful girl, extremely smart and loving and when provided with owners that understand her needs, should do well. Sharon and Mike saw the opportunity to make a difference with Maddie and realized her numerous good traits. There are so many people to thank in this placement: Ellen, Betty, Linda and John and most particularly Pete, who took the time to work with Maddie. And last but certainly not least, a huge thanks to Sharon and Mike. We look forward to hearing more of Maddie's journey to normalcy. Rescues such as Maddie's represent the true meaning of 'rescue' work. We're proud to have been able to make a difference.
