Pearl

After Pearl's owner passed away, she was taken to one of the local animal shelters. A kind-hearted person visiting the shelter contacted TOESR about her, having noted how sad she looked. We picked her up immediately and moved her into foster care.

Pearl immediately bonded with her foster mom and their resident sheepie (also an adopted TOESR placement). Life was good for Pearl, but she needed a home of her very own. We were approached by a potential adopter who specifically requested an older dog. Those don't come too often so we were more than happy to proceed with the various processes to place her.

The reports are good! Pearl has gone to live with her new 'pack' and began her new 'job' immediately by herding her new charges. Many thanks go out to all those involved with this endeavor: Allie, Betty and Dena and Butch. But our most grateful thanks go to Stacy and her son for giving this senior girl a chance at normalcy and a loving, caring home! We couldn't be happier!
