Artemis is proof that even seasoned veterans can fail Fostering. Tammy and Tim met Artemis' two-legged sister on a visit to Biltmore Winery.

They had their own boy, Beaureguard, with them, so it was natural to strike up a conversation about sheepies. When Artemis' sister explained that they needed to find a good home for her, they knew they wanted to help. They picked up Artemis the following week and fell in love with her before they even got her home. This bouncy, bundle of energy made herself right at home and has already proven herself to be a wonderful companion and friend. They've got great hopes and plans for her to enjoy therapy work and agility. To begin her new life, they decided she needed a new name. Quick study that she is, it took her no time at all to embrace her new name – welcome Madison!
