Jax

Jax came to TOESR from a high kill shelter with only hours to spare. His prior owner had turned in the little 12 week old pup with nothing more than a wire stretched around his neck as a collar. That restraint had become embedded and had to be surgically removed. With a compromised immune system, Jax suffered several health issues, including pneumonia. Finally, once cleared and declared fit, it was time for Jax to go his new home. Roger and Denise had been patiently watching Jax's improving health and were very excited about the news that they'd soon be able adopt him. On a sweltering Sunday, we set out for Jax's new home. It was total love at first sight!

As a rescuer, the reports coming in about Jax are what we all strive for in finding great homes. Jax is a well-loved little guy, and he is bringing joy and happiness to everyone he meets.

There are so many people to thank for Jax's new life; Lynn, Allie, the great staff at Forsyth Vet Hospital, Burt and yes, we even have to thank Belinda's own Odie for mentoring Jax and teaching him how to be a sheepdog! We miss this little guy but know that he's living the life he's deserved all along. Most importantly, thanks to Roger and Denise for the love they have to give Jax.

We can't wait to watch Jax grow up and hear some incredible stories of his progress.
