Daisy - Adopted!

Daisy joined our group as a turn-in due to her owner's ill health. She was a much-loved companion for four years, having been purchased as a puppy and had known no other home. The situation was saddening, but we assured her owner that we'd take the greatest of care to find Daisy a perfect home.

Daisy, understandably was confused with the changes in her life and took a few days to acclimate to her new surroundings with her foster Mom, Ellen. In the beginning, she slept in the shower and wouldn't eat. But then after those few days, she began to readjust and once again show interest in things around her.

Within a week's time, we had our family! Laurie and Tom had been long time followers of the TOESR website and after seeing Daisy and hearing her story, were immediately interested. An initial meeting was scheduled and after spending some time with Daisy, they knew she'd won their hearts.

Daisy was introduced to her new home and family and is progressing well. Thanks to Ellen for all her help and to Laurie and Tom for giving this special girl all their love and care.
