Emmett - Adopted!
Emmett was an owner turn-in that came to us because he was 'too big' and just 'outgrew' his original family.
Belinda was lucky enough to foster Emmett and what a sweet, beautiful boy he is. Everyone that met him fell in
love with him so after his routine, TOESR-sponsored trip to the vet, it didn't take long to find the perfect home for him.
Bruce and Barbara had contacted us regarding finding a dog and wanted to 'go the rescue route'. They
had recently lost the family dog, and life just wasn't the same without one. We worked hard on the logistics
and finally Emmett went to his new home. We're happy to report that Emmett, who is now Charlie, is living the
perfect sheepie life with a new dad, a mom - who's been a dog trainer in the past - and a virtual menagerie of other companions
which include his own herd of sheep, miniature horses and a llama! We're told that he's been befriended by one
of the horses who thinks he's a dog as well.
Again, thanks to all the volunteers that made this story have such a great ending: Kerry, Allie, and Sue, Charlie
thanks you!
We look forward to some very interesting photos in the future!
