Snooker - Adopted!

Booker came to us as an owner turn in and was in horrible shape. His mats were so thick that when the shelter groomer cut them off, they practically stood up on their own as another, separate dog. Booker tested heartworm positive at his initial rescue vet check-up. Six weeks later he was cleared of heartworms and neutererd. His health has remained perfect since.

Kathy contacted us about Booker and was very interested in giving this great fella a wonderful home. We spent quite a bit of time with her and Booker the weekend prior to Christmas, and it appeared to be a great match! The last up date we received was a good on; Booker has now become Snooker and has made the rounds at Kathy's work and is loved by all. We look forward to hearing of more Snooker escapades in the future!

Thanks to Kathy for being a loving mom to Snooker, and thanks as well to all the great volunteers that helped transport Booker to us and to a great vet staff that took such good of him during his treatment!
