Baxter - Adopted!

Baxter to came to TOESR as an owner turn in along with a female dog. They had been together their entire lives, and both dogs had been used in a breeding facility and basically hadn't had the best of treatment.

Baxter was diagnosed with heartworms, and we obviously wanted to give him the best chance possible at a better life. He completed the lengthy treatment period without issue.

We had hoped to find a home for both dogs together, but that just didn't happen. We received a call from a great home opportunity in the mountains of NC with a couple who had lost their latest OES recently. Baxter fit the bill!

When Baxter reached his new home, perched on the top af a mountain with a view to die for, Baxter now not only has a very attentive and loving owner BUT from what we understand he's learning to drive Mr Burt's classic cars! We can picture Baxter now in the back of one of the cars, a 1917 Ford Coupe.

Thanks to Baxter's new family for giving this dog the love and attention he so desperately needed.
