Odie - Adopted!

Odie nee Max came to the group as an owner turn in. His owners decided they needed to turn him in after realizing they had no idea how big he would get. After originally being fostered by an adoring Allie (yet somewhat less than adoringly by her own two OES girls), Odie was handed off to me to foster for the duration of his vetting process. Say no more! By the time Odie had been in residence two days, he was right at home. There's no shyness to this fella. So, yes, even the tried and true 'rescuer' has to fall every now and then and I'll gladly admit I failed Fostering 101!

Odie is a joy. He's always happy, whether it's playing hard with my girl Smoke or very gently 'nursing' ancient Dakota. I've not had a young dog in a long time and consequently have to get used to closing closet doors (he's demolished one pair of boots and a favorite pair of red high heels) and watching for 'attack' dog while going down the stairs in the morning, but it's great to have him with me!

I'm sure you'll be hearing more about Odie aka Odiferous A in the future as he grows up!
