We were contacted by a wonderful animal advocate near Charlotte recently about an OES they had had in residence for quite some time. In order to make room for other more needy animals and ones that didn't have a rescue organization to help them, we were introducted to BAMS. BAMS had originally been dropped off with his brother OES, who later died from bloat and had been there ever since. Being such a happy, loveable fella, BAMS was a favorite and managed to get along with all manor of other animals including a camel!

We dispatched our Events Coordinator, Carol, to pick BAMS up and to foster for him a short while. We had no idea that it would be love at first sight. It was and once again we have to chalk up another 'Foster 101' failure BUT it really has been a match made in heaven. BAMS is now Spencer and is living the good life with Carol and each is providing a ton of love for the other.

Thanks so much to Amy for being so kindhearted and for giving all these animals such a good home temporarily. And of course, many thanks as well to Carol, who's given Spencer such a wonderful, caring environment. We hope to see more pictures of Spencer as time goes by.
